The Toronto Raptors will look for their first three-game winning streak of the season when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Raptors have been playing well lately with back-to-back victories over the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics.
The last time the Raptors played the Bucks was last week and that’s when Toronto suffered a lopsided 128-104 loss. However, that game might have sparked a turnaround for this team. RJ Barrett called that loss to Milwaukee a turning point for the Raptors, per TSN’s Josh Lewenberg. The Raptors then travelled to New York and suffered a 14-point loss to the Knicks, but since then the Raptors have looked like a completely different team. They have been competitive and have won 2 of their last 4 games.
The Raptors are also hoping to turn around their road woes. The Raptors have been respectable at home at 9-13, but on the road they are 1-18. That is the worst away record in the entire NBA. Their lone road victory came all the way back on Nov. 27 against the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Raptors will be shorthanded against the Bucks with Immanuel Quickley ruled out with a groin injury. Davion Mitchell should once again get the start. Ochai Agbaji is questionable after he received stitches following a hand injury he suffered against the Celtics.
For the Bucks, Andre Jackson Jr. (hip) is questionable, while Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee), Khris Middleton (ankles) and former Raptor Gary Trent Jr. (hip) are all probable.
With Toronto coming off two impressive wins, it’ll be interesting to see if they can carry that momentum on the road and pull off another upset victory.
