Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered another dominant performance with 35 points and 12 rebounds, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a 130-112 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Friday night.

Damian Lillard added 26 points and eight assists, Bobby Portis contributed 15 points, and Khris Middleton chipped in 13 off the bench as the Bucks completed a three-game season sweep of Toronto.

Antetokounmpo recorded his 12th consecutive double-double, the second-longest active streak in the NBA.

Milwaukee capitalized on Toronto’s defensive struggles, attempting 41 free throws and converting 33 as the Raptors racked up 31 fouls.

RJ Barrett led the Raptors with 21 points and 10 assists, while Bruce Brown scored 17.

Toronto managed to cut an early 20-point deficit in half early in the fourth quarter, pulling within 107-97 after scoring the first six points of the period. However, Milwaukee responded with another strong push to secure its third consecutive victory.

The Raptors had won two straight at home—defeating Golden State and Boston—after enduring a 10-game losing streak.

Takeaways

Raptors: Scottie Barnes struggled offensively, shooting just 1-for-11 from the field and 0-for-5 from three-point range in the first half while dealing with foul trouble against Antetokounmpo. He finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds but shot just 4-for-16 overall and missed all six of his three-point attempts.

Bucks: Milwaukee continued its trend of fast starts, scoring 37 points in the first quarter on 50% shooting (11-of-22) while making 12-of-14 free throws to build a 15-point lead. This marked the third straight game in which the Bucks posted a strong opening quarter, scoring 47 against Sacramento and 34 versus Orlando earlier in the week.

Key Moment

With 3.9 seconds left in the first half, Toronto challenged a foul call on Barnes, but the call stood, resulting in three free throws for Lillard. He converted all of them, extending Milwaukee’s lead to 72-57 at the break.

Key Stat

The Bucks were highly efficient at the foul line, making 23-of-27 free throws in the first half alone.

Up Next

Toronto returns home to face the Orlando Magic on Tuesday, while Milwaukee wraps up its four-game homestand against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.
