Former Toronto Raptors forward O.G. Anunoby climbed the ranks as one of the premiere 3-and-D wings in the league.
Anunoby is someone who focuses on basketball and excelling at a high level.
That winning unfortunately dried out in Toronto as he was ultimately traded to the New York Knicks. Anunoby immediately elevated the Knicks into an Eastern Conference contender.
After coming up short in the Eastern Conference Semifinals due to injuries, this offseason served as a chance to recharge.
New York will be even better going into this season with Mikal Bridges now in the fold.
Recently, Jalen Brunson was named the Knicks’ team captain. This resulted in his teammates collaborating on a video to congratulate him.
Anunoby made a cameo where he showed half of his face and spoke for only two seconds. This prompted his teammate Josh Hart to take to X to make fun of Anunoby’s appearance in this video:
Something is wrong with OG 😂😂😂😂😂 https://t.co/sgmiBOjo9l

Admittedly, Anunoby’s clip was funny. Seeing how he is a quiet player, the quiet ones are usually people that can crank some jokes behind close doors.
Having players who can bring up team morale is an underrated aspect to building a powerhouse. By having that team chemistry and players who love to be around another, it only bodes well for the future.
Despite winning a championship with the Raptors, it looks like Anunoby has adjusted to his new teammates and organization.

New York took a risk by trading for Anunoby seeing how they had to negotiate and pay his next contract. By trading for Mikal Bridges, his future was in question.
However, the Knicks paid Anunoby as he signed a five-year, $212.5 million contract to stay in the Big Apple.
