The Toronto Raptors are looking ahead to the 2024 NBA Draft.
They could have up to three picks in the draft if they end up keeping their own pick.
Toronto will be on the look out for more talent to add to this group of players in hopes of bouncing back next season.
Sam Vecenie of The Athletic put out his latest NBA mock draft.
He has the Raptors selecting international prospect Bobi Klintman of Cairns Taipans at No. 17 via the Indiana Pacers:
Klintman is a 6-9 wing/forward who can knock down shots from the perimeter, having made 35.4 percent from 3 this season and 80 percent from the line. He’s excellent on the break, where he can handle and make nice passes. He’s still learning his own capabilities as he grows into his frame; his feel for the game is still developing after he picked up the sport late in his youth. In total, he averaged 9.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game this year.
The conversations surrounding Klintman are similar to those involving Rui Hachumira when he came out of Gonzaga in 2019, per Vecenie.
It will likely take some time for Klintman to grow and develop his game, but the Raptors have shown tremendous patience with prospects in the past.
After trading away both O.G. Anunoby and Pascal Siakam the Raptors are in need of more size on the wing and Klintman can fill that void.
Klintman has great size, length and explosiveness for a perimeter prospect. He is a versatile player that offers three-point shooting, above-the-rim finishing and defensive playmaking. He would be a very intriguing pick for the Raptors.
B/R has Toronto taking Ron Holland at no. 6
The biggest question mark for the Raptors when it comes to this upcoming draft is will they be able to keep their 2024 first-round pick which is top-6 protected?
Bleacher Report’s latest mock draft projects the Raptors will and they have Toronto taking Ron Holland at No. 6.
