The Toronto Raptors bounced back in a big way on Wednesday night. Toronto dominated and defeated the Bucks 130-111 to get their record to 2-3 on the season.
All five Raptors starters finished this game in double figures. Pascal Siakam led the way with a game-high 26 points, 7 assists and 7 rebounds. Siakam was 9/13 from the field and 5/8 from deep.
Dennis Schroder continues his impressive run as a Raptor. He had 24 points and 11 assists. Through 5 games with the Raptors, Schroder has scored 81 points and has registered 46 assists.
Scottie Barnes had a nice outing once again. Barnes scored 21 points on very efficient shooting splits. He was 8/16 from the field and 4/6 from deep. He added 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks. Barnes is now averaging 20 and 10 on the season.
O.G. Anunoby finished with 16 points as he was a perfect 7/7 from the field. Also, Jakob Poeltl delivered on both ends. He put up the third Raptors double-double of the nigh with 14 points and 11 rebounds. He also had 4 blocks.
The Raptors offense looked a lot better in this one. They finished the game shooting it 56 percent from the field and 40 percent from three. They had 35 assists and 66 points in the paint.
Toronto put up more than 110 points for the first time this season. Coming into this game they were the only team that hadn’t hit that mark.
On defense, the Raptors were just as good. They held the Bucks to just 38 percent from three. Their superstars were held in check. Giannis Antetokounmpo only had 16 points on 5/11 shooting and Damian Lillard had 15 points on 4/9 shooting.
Another area where the Raptors dominated in this game was on the glass. Toronto finished with 50 rebounds and out-rebounded the Bucks by 21.
Gary Trent Jr. led the Raptors bench with 8 points but the bright spot was Otto Porter Jr. who saw his first minutes of the season. Porter Jr. cracked the rotation as Jalen McDaniels was benched.
Porter Jr. was solid on both ends. He finished with 6 points and 3 rebounds. Porter Jr.’s veteran presence will be important for this Raptors second unit.

The Raptors will travel to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers on Nov. 2. It will be the second night of a back to back for Toronto.
The 76ers defeated the Raptors on Oct. 28 114-107. Toronto looks to return the favor this time around.
