The Toronto Raptors selected Gradey Dick with the No. 13 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
Dick is already being labeled as the “tomfoolery king” for his foolish behavior.
The Raptors rookie recently became and investor and brand ambassador for GURU Organic Energy, the world’s first natural drink company.
GURU Organic Energy challenged Dick to a game of Toronto trivia during his first week in the city:

It was refreshing that Dick knew Vince Carter was the former Toronto Raptor who went by the nickname “Air Canada.” He also knew Toronto’s “6ix” nickname and that J. Cole was the famous rapper who once played basketball in Toronto. He also knew Toronto’s landmark is the CN Tower.
However, Dick has some work to do as he got some of the other important questions wrong.
Dick thought the national animal of Canada is a moose, when it’s the beaver. And he couldn’t name any of Canada’s provinces.
Dick is American so we’ll give him some time to learn Canadian facts.
He revealed that his favourite GURU flavor is fruit punch. The Raptors are hoping Dick provides a scoring punch for the team this season.
Dick’s rookie season with the Raptors
Dick prepares for his rookie season with Raptors. Dick was regarded as the best prospect still available on the draft board when the Raptors snagged him at No. 13.
Dick was a solid sharpshooter at Kansas. He averaged 14.1 points on 44.2 percent shooting and he was a blistering 40.3 percent from three-point land.
The Raptors are going to need that shooting once the season starts. The expectation is that Dick will come into games and drain shots to open things up for the Raptors offense.
The Raptors are gearing up for the 2023-24 NBA season, which kicks off on Oct. 25 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
