Josh Hart delivered a near triple-double with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists, leading the New York Knicks to a 116–94 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday and extending New York’s winning streak to four games.
Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and eight rebounds, while Jalen Brunson contributed 18 points, seven assists, and six boards. Mikal Bridges and Miles McBride chipped in 14 points each as the Knicks improved to 10–1 at home and 13–6 overall. New York is undefeated since Hart was inserted into the starting lineup last week.
Raptors Cut Into Big Deficit but Fade Late
Former Knick Immanuel Quickley scored 19 points and tallied eight assists for Toronto, with Scottie Barnes adding 18 points. The Raptors fell to 14–7 after having their nine-game winning streak snapped the previous night in Charlotte.
New York raced out to a 24-point first-half lead, but Toronto clawed back, trimming the margin to 70–67 midway through the third quarter.
That’s when the Knicks slammed the door.
Hart, Bridges Spark Decisive Run
Hart and Bridges fueled a 16–1 surge over a 4:20 stretch that rebuilt the Knicks’ double-digit lead. Hart knocked down two 3-pointers and scored eight points in the run, while Bridges added six points and assisted on both of Hart’s long-range makes.
The two teams will see each other again soon — New York and Toronto are set to square off in the NBA Cup Eastern Conference semifinals on Dec. 9 in Toronto.
