Coby White poured in 28 points, and Talen Horton-Tucker added 27 as the Chicago Bulls secured their place in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament with a 137-118 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night.
Nikola Vucevic had an efficient performance, shooting 9-of-12 from the field — including 2-of-3 from deep — and finishing with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists.
Toronto was led by Ja’Kobe Walter and Immanuel Quickley, who each scored 17 points. Quickley also tallied nine assists.
The Bulls took control late in the first quarter and never looked back. They ended the opening period on a 30-13 run to erase a 10-point deficit and built a 70-57 lead by halftime. Horton-Tucker kept the momentum going with a team-high 18 points in the second half.
