Knicks Vs. Raptors Preview: Looking To Stay Hot

The Toronto Raptors continue to play well.

After suffering a bad loss against the Chicago Bulls on Friday night, the Raptors bounced back on Sunday afternoon with an impressive win over the Los Angeles Clippers. Overall, the Raptors are 8-2 in their last 10 games. That is a crazy turnaround for a team that had lost 16 of 17 games earlier in the season.

The Raptors had Monday night off, meanwhile the New York Knicks will be on the second night of a back-to-back. They are coming off a win over the Houston Rockets thanks to Jalen Brunson who put up 42 points and 10 assists.

The Knicks have been playing some of their best basketball. They just went 4-1 on their five-game homestand with wins over the Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies, Denver Nuggets and Rockets.

Former Raptors wing O.G. Anunoby (foot) will likely not play in this game after not suiting up against the Rockets. Anunoby will not be able to take on his former team in Toronto. Meanwhile, Mitchell Robinson (ankle) who has been in a lot of trade chatter for the Knicks is also out.

For the Raptors they will be missing one of its best players and arguably their best scorer in RJ Barrett. Unfortunately, Barrett has entered concussion protocols after he hit his head hard on the floor in the game against the Clippers. With Barrett out, Ochai Agbaji should get the start. Chris Boucher (illness) and Bruce Brown (facial contusion) are questionable. Both players did not practice.

Let’s see if the Raptors can keep their strong play going against one of the best team’s in the East.
