The Toronto Raptors host the New York Knicks for the only game of the night in the NBA.

This will be the first meeting of the season between both teams. The Raptors are coming off a hard fought loss against the Dallas Mavericks. Meanwhile, the Knicks are also coming off a loss against the Detroit Pistons.

The Raptors will see a few familiar faces in this one as O.G. Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa return to Toronto.

Both were traded to the Knicks last season in a deal that brought RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley to the Raptors.

The Knicks are starting to click and they have been operating one of the best offenses in the league this season. Karl-Anthony Towns has been a big boost to the Knicks along with Mikal Bridges. Towns is dealing with a knee injury so he is questionable for tonight and that will be something to monitor. Cam Payne is the other Knicks player questionable with an elbow injury.

RJ Barrett will look to have a big game against his former team. Barrett’s style of play should be a handful for Bridges. Also, Scottie Barnes is coming off a career-high 14 assists. His passing and vision last game was impressive. The Knicks will have a tough time trying to contain him. Unfortunately, Immanuel Quickley won’t be able to play against his old team. He is still out with an elbow injury and Bruce Brown remains out as well as he continues to recover from his offseason knee surgery.

This game will come down to if Towns suits up or not. If he does, the Raptors offense might not have enough to match the Knicks’ offensive firepower. If Towns doesn’t play, they should make this game interesting.
