The Toronto Raptors take on the Miami Heat once again, but this time at Scotiabank Arena.

Toronto finished up their four-game road trip in Miami with an NBA Cup game. The Raptors fell 121-111 as Scottie Barnes shined with a triple-double.

A big reason as to why the Heat were able to secure a win was due to getting up 54 three-pointers. They made 21 of those 54, which was 10 more than Toronto.

Heading into this matchup, head coach Darko Rajakovic needs to be cognizant of that for tonight’s matchup. Eight Heat players had two or more threes, so limiting that kind of production is going to be key.

For the Raptors, it was encouraging to see Barnes and RJ Barrett get their games going against a physical defense. The hope is those two can build off of those performances in a win this time.

The bench production continues to be an issue for Toronto as there is not much scoring happening outside of the starters. Jonathan Mogbo was the leading scorer with 7 points last game, but there simply needs to be more.

Unfortunately, reinforcements are still not on the way as Gradey Dick (calf), Immanuel Quickley (elbow), Bruce Brown (knee) and Kelly Olynyk (back) remain out.

Notably, Chris Boucher and Jamison Battle were a combined 2-for-10 from the field. Hopefully, they are able to hit the ground running tonight in front of their home crowd.

For Miami, they will be without Nikola Jovic (ankle) and Josh Richardson (illness) as they did not make the trip to Toronto.
