Gradey Dick will once again be out on Nov. 27 against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Toronto Raptors have ruled Dick out as he continues to deal with a left calf contusion. He suffered the injury on Nov. 24 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. This will mark the second straight game he will miss.

Raptors rookie Ja’Kobe Walter is active after the team recalled him from Raptors 905 following Dick’s injury. Walter was unable to join the team in Detroit, but he will be available to come from off the bench against the Pelicans.

Bruce Brown will be out for this game as well. He continues to work his way back from offseason knee surgery. The Raptors were hoping to have him back at some point during this road trip, but now it’s unclear when he’ll return. The Raptors play another road game in Miami on Nov. 29 and then return home on Dec. 1.

Kelly Olynyk and Immanuel Quickley have both been ruled out as well. The two continue to be sidelined as Olynyk began non-contact activities last week while Quickley continues to recover from his UCL sprain. There’s no timetable for either of them.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans have a bunch of injuries of their own. However, they will be getting healthier coming into this matchup. Dejounte Murray is expected to make his return from a fractured hand and he is listed as probable. Brandon Ingram, Trey Murphy III and Jordan Hawkins are all questionable to play. Zion Williamson, Herbert Jones, and Jose Alvarado have all been ruled out.

The Raptors are currently winless on the road (0-10) and are 4-14 overall.

3 takeaways from Raptors heartbreaking loss to Pistons

The Toronto Raptors dropped their second game in a row and 10th straight road game to begin the season as they lost a heartbreaker to the Detroit Pistons 102-100.

Here are 3 takeaways from the game.
