The Toronto Raptors are looking to snap a five-game losing streak when they host the Detroit Pistons tonight.

The Raptors lost all five games on their road trip and are hoping a return home will spark some good energy.

The Raptors will play in their second NBA Cup group game. They’re 0-1 so far in the Group East B standings.

The Raptors last win came back on home court on Nov. 2nd, which was almost two weeks to date.

The Raptors will be taking on a Pistons team that currently sits ahead of them in the Eastern Conference at 5-8. The Pistons have shown a ton of improvement this season compared to last year when they tied the NBA record for the longest losing streak of all time.

The Raptors will be shorthanded once again for this one. Scottie Barnes (orbital fracture), Kelly Olynyk (back), Bruce Brown (knee), Ja’Kobe Walter (shoulder) and Immanuel Quickley (elbow) are all out. DJ Carton (ankle) is day-to-day.

Meanwhile for the Pistons Ausar Thompson (conditioning) and Bobi Klintman are out. Simone Fontecchio (toe) is doubtful along with Tim Hardaway Jr. (head) and Jaden Ivey (toe) is questionable.

The Raptors will have their work cut out for them tonight but they are hoping to lean on the play of Gradey Dick who is coming off a career-high performance of 33 points against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Raptors will need a better showing from RJ Barrett who struggled in Milwaukee. Ochai Agbaji is another name to watch. The 24-year-old continues to impress with his improved shooting. Agbaji is shooting 47.9 percent from three-point range and leads the league in corner three-point efficiency at 62.1 percent.
