Immanuel Quickley is nearing a return.

The Toronto Raptors lead guard practiced in full today and is questionable to return for the Raptors final preseason game against the Brooklyn Nets on Oct 18.

Darko Rajakovic said the Raptors will see how Quickley feels tomorrow before making a decision on his availability, per Sports Illustrated’s Aaron Rose.

Quickley has yet to play in the preseason as he continues to work his way back from a thumb injury.

Without Quickley, the Raptors have turned to Davion Mitchell and Jamal Shead to takeover the point guard responsibilities this preseason. Shead left the game early against the Boston Celtics with a hamstring injury and did not return. However, Rajakovic told reporters on Wednesday that Shead is “fine.”

Toronto continues to be without RJ Barrett, Ja’Kobe Walter and Bruce Brown Jr. who appear likely to miss the start of the season.

Darko Rajakovic outlines next step in Scottie Barnes’ offensive game

Scottie Barnes is coming off an impressive performance against the Boston Celtics.

He put up 26 points, 10 assists and 9 rebounds, falling 1 rebound shy of a triple-double.

Barnes had his three ball dropping in this one going 5-for-9 from beyond the arc and he also showcased a much improved mid-range game.

Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic talked to reporters about the next step in Barnes’ offensive game and him making decisions on the court when it comes to taking that mid-range shot or not.
