There were rumors circling all summer long that the Toronto Raptors were going to have a retro-inspired jersey to celebrate their 30th anniversary during the 2024-25 NBA season.
It appears that will be the case. An apparent jersey leak was shared on social media, which revealed a Raptors jersey featuring a Vince Carter-inspired logo with the number 15:

The Raptors initially revealed this Carter-inspired logo in April as a way to honor his induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
Carter is a Raptors legend. He spent the first seven seasons of his NBA career playing in Toronto, putting up 9,420 points, 1,553 assists, and 2,091 rebounds.
He’s one of the best players in Raptors franchise history and he had an incredible impact on the growth of basketball in Canada.
When the Raptors traded Carter to the New Jersey Nets, there was a lot of animosity between him and the fans. However, as time passed, it seems like all has been forgiven.
Carter was on the Run It Back Podcast back in February and said he wanted to be remembered as a Raptor and did not hesitate when he said he wanted to rock a Raptors jersey to the Hall of Fame:
“Toronto, Toronto, Toronto. It has to be; it’s where it all started. Yes, I had great years in [New Jersey], but it started there.”
The 47-year-old had stints with the Raptors, Nets, along with the Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings and Atlanta Hawks before retiring in 2020.
Having this jersey to honor Carter is a cool gesture by the franchise.
