The Toronto Raptors will be in Summer League action once when they take on the Miami Heat.

The Heat are 3-0 and will be fighting for one of the top 4 spots in the Summer League semifinals, meanwhile the Raptors are 2-1. They aren’t mathematically eliminated from the Summer League playoffs, but they’ll need to win and get some outside help.

Here are some things to look out for in this game for the Raptors:

Ja’Kobe Walter

Will this be the game where Walter breaks out? He hasn’t been able to find his shooting stoke in Toronto’s first three games. He’s been struggling mightily from the field and from deep. Walter was deemed an elite shooter coming out of college so hopefully he can display more of that in this matchup.

Jamal Shead

Shead has been solid defensively for the Raptors during Summer League. The 21-year-old has been as advertised on that end of the court. Shead will need to do a better job operating in the pick-and-roll and will need to be an effective three-point shooter when he gets those looks. It’ll be interesting to see if Shead can do more offensively in this game.

Ochai Agbaji

Speaking of doing more offensively, it has been a tough Summer League for Agbaji to this point. He has not made strides with his offensive game and has struggled to get shots. With Gradey Dick likely out once again, Agbaji should be more involved on offense.

The Raptors were without Dick and Jonathan Mogbo in their game on July 17. Their status for this game will be revealed before tipoff.
