Serge Ibaka is once again a champion.

The former Toronto Raptors center led Bayern Munich to a championship in the German basketball league last week.

The championship caps off a great season for Ibaka and Bayern Munich who clinched both the German Cup and National Title this season:

Ibaka had 9 points and 5 rebounds in the final as Bayern Munich defeated Alba Berlin.

Ibaka spent four seasons with the Raptors after he was acquired from the Orlando Magic in 2017. Ibaka had a big role during the Raptors 2019 championship run as he was a backup center behind Marc Gasol.

He then left the Raptors in 2020, signing a multi-year deal with the Los Angeles Clippers. However, after Ibaka left Toronto he was never the same player. He dealt with injuries and was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. He was eventually bought out by the Bucks in 2022.

Ibaka then went overseas where he is finding new success to closeout his basketball playing career.

The 34-year-old averaged 12.6 points and 6.8 rebounds while shooting 59.8 percent from the floor and 48 percent from deep this past season.

Ibaka will apparently be leaving Germany next season and reportedly has plans to sign a new deal with Real Madrid. Ibaka played for Real Madrid during the 2011 NBA lockout.

Raptors take Tristan Da Silva in latest mock draft

The Toronto Raptors have held workouts with many prospects as they begin to narrow down their selections.

In Yahoo Sports’ latest mock draft, Krysten Peek has the Raptors going with a more mature player in Tristian Da Silva at No. 19.
