It has been a rough season for the Toronto Raptors.

They have lost 15 games in a row and are on pace to having their worst season since 2011-12.

The Raptors need all of the help they can get right now and they are hoping they can keep their 2024 first-round pick.

Toronto currently has the sixth-worst record in the league which would give them a 46 percent chance of keeping their pick.

Well the good news is Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer not only has the Raptors keeping their pick, but he has them winning the draft lottery in his latest mock draft.

O’Conner has the Raptors taking Alex Sarr out of the NBL with the first overall pick.

He says that Sarr’s two-way versatility and upside would fit the type of player Masai Ujiri has drafted in the past, such as Scottie Barnes, OG Anunoby, and Pascal Siakam.

The Raptors getting the No. 1 pick in this scenario would be a big boost to this team.

O’Conner then has the Raptors taking Isaiah Collier of USC with the No. 16 pick via the Indiana Pacers.

This pick makes sense since the Raptors could use some guard depth behind Immanuel Quickley. O’Conner says that Collier might not fall this far on draft night, but if he does Toronto would be a favorable landing spot for him.

Finally, O’Conner has the Raptors finishing up their draft by taking Bobi Klintman from Cairns Taipans at No. 31 via the Detroit Pistons.

Klintman has great size and nice ball handling that makes his a unique prospect. If he falls to the second round in this mock draft, Toronto could take a chance on the 6’10” forward.

Raptors need to have a strong 2024 NBA Draft

The Raptors are going to have to capitalize on this upcoming draft.

The team could have up to three selections to add to their roster going into next season.
