The Toronto Raptors will conclude their four-game homestand when they host the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Raptors are coming off a 111-106 win over the Hornets.
Scottie Barnes will be out for the foreseeable future after undergoing surgery to repair the fracture in his left hand Monday.
Ochai Agbaji got the start in place of Barnes on Sunday and he should continue to be the starter with Barnes out.
Jakob Poeltl’s finger injury will keep him sidelined as well. Toronto will have to lean on Kelly Olynyk and Jontay Porter against the Pelicans frontcourt.
With the Raptors being shorthanded, others will have to step up.
Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett both rose to the occasion in the Raptors latest win. Quickley had 22 points, 11 assists and 7 rebounds, Meanwhile Barrett had 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
Both will need big games if the Raptors want a chance to beat the Pelicans.
Toronto has ruled out Barnes, Poeltl, and Bruce Brown Jr. who continues to battle a right knee injury.
The Pelicans will be without Dyson Daniels.
The last time these two teams met in New Orleans the Pelicans dominated the Raptors 138-100.
With the Raptors being down their best player and best frontcourt presence this will be a tough game to win.
