The Toronto Raptors will try to hand the Charlotte Hornets their 5th straight loss tonight at Scotiabank Arena.

The Hornets last win came against the the Raptors (108-105) in Charlotte on Dec. 8.

Since then the Hornets have struggled mightily. They are coming off a 53-point loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Hornets are going to be very shorthanded in this matchup. They will be without LaMelo Ball, Cody Martin and Frank Ntilikina. Mark Williams is doubtful, while Gordon Hayward and P.J. Washington are both questionable. Terry Rozier is probable and Miles Bridges has been reportedly denied entry into Canada and is an unknown at the moment.

Meanwhile, the Raptors will only be without Christian Koloko who remains out with respiratory issues.

As a result the Raptors are big favourites at home. Right now the Raptors are favored to win by 12 points on FanDuel.

Brandon Miller is someone to keep an eye on for the Hornets. Miller had a great outing against the Raptors last time. He had 20 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks.

Scottie Barnes had a triple-double in the previous meeting against the Hornets. He had 31 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in the loss.

This is going to be a very tough game for the Hornets to win on the road with many key players not going for them.

Therefore, the Raptors must take advantage of the situation. The Raptors are hoping they have a much better shooting game from beyond the arc this time around, as Toronto only shot it 6-32 from three on Dec. 8.
