The Toronto Raptors once again are heading to the West Coast as they will hold training camp in Vancouver.

Raptors Media Day is set for Monday, Oct 2, in Toronto and the team will fly out west to begin preparing for the 2023-2024 NBA season.

The Raptors will be in Vancouver for training camp from Oct. 3-7 and will practice at the Christine Sinclair Community Centre in Burnaby. The team has held training camp on the West Coast eight times, including six instances in Vancouver.

All Raptors practice sessions at Christine Sinclair Community Centre will be closed to the public. However, the Raptors will host their annual Open Practice at the West Gym on the Simon Fraser University campus in Burnaby on Oct. 6. Proceeds from the Open Practice will go toward the SFU Athletics General Fund.

Toronto then plays their first preseason game against the Sacramento Kings on Oct. 8 at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena. Fans in Vancouver will be the first to see the new-look Raptors roster in action, led by first-year head coach Darko Rajakovic.

The Raptors return home on Oct. 15 to continue their preseason with a matchup against Cairns Taipans of Australia’s National Basketball League. The Raptors will then play the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards to wrap up its preseason schedule.
