Brandon Ingram scored 28 points and knocked down five 3-pointers as the Toronto Raptors halted a four-game losing streak with a 106–96 win over the Miami Heat on Monday night, handing Miami its fifth straight loss.
Toronto caught fire from long range, connecting on 16 three-pointers, with Ingram shooting 5-for-7 from beyond the arc. Scottie Barnes delivered a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Immanuel Quickley added 15 points. Sandro Mamukelashvili chipped in 11, and Gradey Dick finished with 10.
Miami was without leading scorer Tyler Herro, sidelined by a bruised right toe, and also lost Nikola Jovic early in the game after he suffered an elbow injury following a hard foul just seconds into his shift.
The Heat were led by Norman Powell and Bam Adebayo, who scored 20 points apiece, with Davion Mitchell contributing 12. Miami was held under 100 points for the first time this season.
Toronto seized control in the fourth quarter. Trailing by five early in the period, the Raptors erupted on a 17–2 run, capped by Jamal Shead’s 3-pointer that pushed the lead to double digits. Miami pulled within four late, but a Shead floater followed by a Barnes putback secured the win.
Toronto has gone 4–6 since losing RJ Barrett to a knee sprain in late November, though coach Darko Rajakovic said Barrett began on-court workouts Monday.
