RJ Barrett and Jakob Poeltl each scored 22 points as the Toronto Raptors closed out a productive five-game road swing with a convincing 129–111 win over the severely depleted Indiana Pacers on Saturday night.
Barrett shot 9 of 17 from the field and knocked down three threes, while Poeltl dominated inside, finishing 8-for-9 with nine rebounds—though he struggled at the free-throw line, going 6-for-14. Toronto moved to 8–5 overall and an impressive 6–3 on the road, winning four games during the trip.
The Raptors showcased their depth, finishing with seven players in double figures.
-
Brandon Ingram: 19 points
-
Scottie Barnes: 14 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists
Toronto led by nine at halftime and steadily widened the gap, eventually pushing the advantage to 26.
The injury-ravaged Pacers—last season’s Eastern Conference finalists—continued their difficult start. Pascal Siakam poured in 30 points, including five from beyond the arc, and Andrew Nembhard added 22 points and five assists. But with only two regular starters available and seven players sidelined, Indiana (now 1–12) couldn’t keep up.
Coach Rick Carlisle announced before tip-off that Aaron Nesmith would miss at least a month with a knee injury, adding to the team’s growing list of absences.
