Jaren Jackson Jr. and Zach Edey each scored 21 points as the Memphis Grizzlies erupted for a franchise-record 155 points in a dominant 155-126 victory over the struggling Toronto Raptors on Thursday night.

Jackson also recorded 11 rebounds and three blocks, while Edey posted a monster double-double with 16 rebounds. Desmond Bane added 19 points, Jaylen Wells contributed 17, and Ja Morant finished with 15 points and nine assists as Memphis won for the third time in four games.

Toronto’s road woes continued, dropping their ninth consecutive game and falling to 1-14 away from home. RJ Barrett led the Raptors with 27 points, while Scottie Barnes added 26. Chris Boucher chipped in 15 points off the bench.

Both teams displayed little defensive intensity through three quarters, with both surpassing 100 points before the start of the fourth. However, Memphis pulled away with a dominant stretch in the third, extending its lead to 22 points.

The 155 points allowed by Toronto marked the most they have given up all season.

Takeaways

Raptors: Despite their extended losing streak, Toronto had remained competitive in recent matchups. Before this blowout, only one of their previous seven losses had been decided by more than 10 points.

Grizzlies: Memphis continues to lead the NBA in scoring, averaging 122.7 points per game. Their offensive firepower was on full display, as they poured in 78 points in the first half—their highest-scoring half of the season.

Key Moment

With Memphis leading 127-103 early in the fourth quarter, Raptors head coach Darko Rajaković erupted at official JT Orr over a series of calls. Orr assessed a technical foul, but Rajaković continued his heated protest, prompting a second technical and an automatic ejection. Players attempted to restrain him as he stormed off to the locker room.

Key Stat

The Grizzlies dominated the offensive glass, grabbing a season-high 24 offensive rebounds, which led to 33 second-chance points—a season-best mark for Memphis.

Up Next

Toronto returns home to host the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, while Memphis begins a five-game road trip against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday.
