Ochai Agbaji delivered the game-winning basket with 1:33 left in the fourth quarter as the Toronto Raptors mounted a late rally to edge the Golden State Warriors 104-101 on Monday night.

Scottie Barnes led Toronto with 23 points, while Jakob Poeltl recorded a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. The win marked the Raptors’ second victory in their last 18 games.

Chris Boucher provided a crucial spark off the bench, scoring 18 points—17 of them coming in the fourth quarter. RJ Barrett added 15 points, while Agbaji and Gradey Dick each chipped in 12.

Stephen Curry paced Golden State with 26 points, and Andrew Wiggins added 20, but the Warriors lost for the second straight game and dropped their fourth in five contests.

Golden State had a chance to force overtime, but Buddy Hield’s three-point attempt in the closing seconds came up short.

The Raptors trailed 86-77 after Lindy Waters III connected on a three-pointer with 9:27 left, but they stormed back, outscoring the Warriors 27-15 the rest of the way.

The Warriors were without Draymond Green for the second consecutive game due to illness, while Toronto’s Immanuel Quickley sat out with a sore left hip.

Takeaways

Warriors: Hield, who led Golden State with 17 points in Friday’s loss to Indiana, struggled against Toronto. He shot just 3-for-13 from the field, including 2-for-10 from deep, and finished with only eight points.

Raptors: Toronto relied less on three-point shooting in the second half after attempting 23 shots from deep in the first two quarters. After halftime, the Raptors went a more efficient 3-for-6 from beyond the arc.

Key Moment

With 45 seconds remaining, Curry missed a potential go-ahead three-pointer. Boucher secured the rebound and quickly found Agbaji for a fast-break dunk, giving Toronto a critical late cushion.

Key Stat

Boucher dominated the final quarter, scoring 17 of his 18 points in the last 12 minutes.

Up Next

Both teams return to action on Wednesday. The Warriors will visit the Minnesota Timberwolves, while the Raptors will host the Boston Celtics.
