Scottie Barnes recorded 24 points and 11 rebounds. At the same time, RJ Barrett and Chris Boucher each added 23 as the Toronto Raptors dominated the Atlanta Hawks 117-94 on Saturday night, completing a two-game sweep in Atlanta and securing their season-best third consecutive win.

Toronto, which edged the Hawks 122-119 on Thursday, controlled the rematch with a balanced offensive effort led by Barnes, Barrett, and Boucher, who combined for 70 points.

Vit Krejci paced Atlanta with 20 points, while Trae Young finished with 16. The NBA’s assists leader was held without an assist through the first three quarters and ended the game with just four.

Takeaways

Raptors: Toronto’s offensive trio of Barnes, Barrett, and Boucher carried the load, accounting for more than half of the team’s points.

Hawks: Atlanta’s depth took another hit, with Jalen Johnson joining the growing injury list after sustaining a left shoulder injury in Thursday’s game. The Hawks also played without key bench scorer De’Andre Hunter (illness) and rookie Zacharie Risacher (left adductor strain), leaving them short on offensive options.

Key Moment

Atlanta started strong, taking a 27-22 lead after the first quarter, but struggled in the second, shooting just 32% from the field. Meanwhile, Toronto found its rhythm, shooting 54% in the period and outscoring the Hawks 33-21 to take control.

Key Stat

After a sluggish first quarter, Toronto shot 54% from the field in both the second and third quarters and connected on 50% of its three-point attempts during that stretch.

Up Next

Both teams return to action Monday night. The Raptors will host the New Orleans Pelicans, while the Hawks will travel to face the Minnesota Timberwolves.
