Scottie Barnes delivered a stellar performance with 33 points. At the same time, Immanuel Quickley added 23 as the Toronto Raptors snapped their four-game losing streak with a 106-103 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night.

Gradey Dick provided a crucial boost with 17 points, including a clutch three-pointer late in the game. Barnes set up Ochai Agbaji for a layup with 1:32 remaining, giving the Raptors a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.

Joel Embiid led Philadelphia with 27 points and 12 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough as the 76ers fell to 20-33, marking their worst record of the season at 13 games below .500. Jared Butler came off the bench to score 15 points, while Paul George finished with 12.

Tyrese Maxey had an uncharacteristically quiet night, managing just five points on 1-of-9 shooting. He struggled beyond the arc, making just one of seven attempts, as the Sixers shot a disappointing 9-for-38 (23.7%) from three-point range.

Takeaways

Raptors: Before tip-off, Toronto announced that Brandon Ingram had signed a three-year, $120 million contract extension. Ingram, acquired from New Orleans last week, has not played since December 7 due to an ankle injury.

76ers: Philadelphia got strong production from its bench, with Butler scoring 15 and Quentin Grimes adding 13. However, Maxey’s scoring slump ended his streak of 18 consecutive games with at least 25 points.

Key Moment

Embiid struggled in the second half, shooting just 4-of-13, including 2-of-6 in the fourth quarter. With the Sixers down two and 8.1 seconds remaining, he committed a costly turnover, allowing Dick to sink a free throw to seal the game.

Key Stat

Despite an overall tough shooting night, Toronto hit just enough timely shots, going 3-of-9 from three-point range in the fourth quarter to close out the win.

Up Next

Toronto will host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday, while Philadelphia travels to Brooklyn for their final game before the All-Star break.
