Immanuel Quickley will miss his third consecutive game for the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors have officially listed Quickley as out for Friday night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a left hip injury. Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic said that Quickley has been dealing with the injury for some time now, per Sports Illustarted’s Aaron Rose. Quickley reportedly played through the injury before it flared up on him earlier in the week.
It’s been a tough season for Quickley to this point. A series of injuries have limited him to only 9 games this season. He suffered a pelvic issue on opening night and then and a UCL sprain in November. As a result of these setbacks the Raptors haven’t been able to properly evaluate their core of Quickley, RJ Barrett and Scottie Barnes. Also, the Raptors projected starting lineup has only played 4 games together this season.
On a more positive note, the Raptors could see Ochai Agbaji suit up in Milwaukee. Luckily, his right-hand injury doesn’t appear to be too serious after he left the game against the Boston Celtics in the first-half to receive three stitches. The Raptors have listed Agbaji as questionable for Friday’s game, per Rose.
Ja’Kobe Walter, Jonathan Mogbo, Eugene Omoruyi and Ulrich Chomche remain on G League assignment. Meanwhile, Jamison Battle remains with the Raptors and will travel with the team to Milwaukee, per Rose.
