The Toronto Raptors unfortunately fell out of the lottery and will have picks No. 19 and 31 to work with at the 2024 NBA Draft.
While the hope was to stay within the top-six to keep their first-round pick, Toronto now has to find hidden gems with their other two picks.
According to Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer, he predicts Toronto taking Isaiah Collier out of USC with the 19th pick.
Collier is a 6’5″ guard who is known to be a scorer. He averaged 16.3 points a contest on 46.2 percent shooting from the field and 33.3 percent shooting from deep in his freshman season. Slotting him behind Immanuel Quickley would make for a dynamic guard rotation.
In addition to the stats, O’Connor believes Collier is a dynamic point guard built like a tank with the ability to control the game.
Next is the No. 31 pick, who O’Connor has the Raptors taking Trentyn Flowers of the NBL. He gives Flowers a shade of Kelly Oubre Jr., a potential of being someone who can be a bucket getter off the bench.
Flowers is a 6’8″ forward, who possesses athleticism as well. He is a 35.7 percent three-point shooter, who could certainly space the floor for the Raptors, especially alongside Scottie Barnes.
As the draft takes place on June 26 and 27, Toronto can continue to evaluate the talent pool and adjust accordingly. But, there are intriguing options that could fit various skillsets for the Raptors.

Before the Raptors fell out of the lottery, O’Connor previously connected Collier to the franchise as well. The backup point guard spot is definitely a position of need this summer for Toronto and the USC guard could certainly fill that void.
