The Toronto Raptors are giving another guard a chance.
The Raptors have signed free-agent guard Kobi Simmons to a 10-day contract, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic:

The 26-year-old signed an NBA deal with Charlotte about a year ago, but then he was waived by the Hornets on Aug. 30.
Simmons has played in 23 games for Raptors 905 of the G League this season, averaging 15.1 points, 5.6 assists and 4.2 rebounds in 31.6 minutes per contest.
Simmons has 38 games of NBA experience with the Memphis Grizzlies, Cleveland Cavaliers an Hornets. He has a career average of 5.3 points, 1.9 assists, and 1.4 rebounds per game.
Meanwhile, Jahmi’us Ramsey’s second 10-day contract expired today. It was speculated that the Raptors would sign him for the rest of the season especially with how well he has played.
However, Toronto has decided to go in another direction here and will reward another guard who has put together a nice season with the 905.
The Raptors could be looking to give as many guys as possible a look here as they close out their season.
Toronto has lost a season-high 10 straight games and they will continue to be without their key players.
This final stretch of the season is for players like Simmons to prove themselves as the Raptors navigate through their rebuild.
Next up for Raptors
The Raptors will look to snap their 1o-game losing streak when they host the Brooklyn Nets on March 25.
This will be the third meeting between the two teams this season. The season series is currently tied 1-1.
