The Toronto Raptors are building something special.
The team has won 3 straight games for the first time all season and they are coming off an impressive win against the Indiana Pacers.
The Raptors young guns were on full display in their latest win. Scottie Barnes had 21 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists and 5 blocks. RJ Barrett had 24 points and Immanuel Quickley added 19.
Also Gradey Dick had another solid outing. He finished with 18 points on a perfect 4-4 from three. Meanwhile, Ochai Agbaji had 13.
The Raptors are starting to build some momentum and are playing hard under coach Darko Rajakovic.
Following the win, Indiana Pacers coach Rick Carlisle recognized Toronto’s talent and gave them some high praise:
“This has been a back & forth odd series of 3 games. We’re going to play these guys in game 80 of the season. They’re 3-0 coming out of the break. They’re working to get into the play-in or playoffs, and I’d say they’re pretty legit right now.”

The Raptors are 5-3 in their last 8 games and are currently 4 games back of the Atlanta Hawks for the final play-in spot in the East.
Whether they catch the Hawks or not remains to be seen, but this team has been competing hard and they are playing at a high level right now.
Raptors future looks promising
The Raptors current situation looks promising.
They have a lot of good young pieces and they will have cap flexibility along with draft capital at their disposal.
The future certainly looks a lot better now than it did before the season started.
