The Toronto Raptors are back in action tonight as they host the Brooklyn Nets.
Toronto has 27 games left on the season. They are 5 games back of the final spot in the play-in tournament and currently have the sixth worst record in the league.
The Raptors will see a familiar face in this one as Dennis Schroder will make his return to Toronto for the first time since being traded at the NBA Trade Deadline.
Scottie Barnes looks to pick up from where he left off. The All-Star forward is coming off having a nice All-Star Weekend. He got to spend time with the best players in the league so now it is time for him to finish up his third year strong.
Toronto looks to build team chemistry for the final stretch here. Barnes, Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett are all healthy so hopefully they can get into rhythm to closeout the year.
The Nets will begin their second half of the season under a new coach after Jacque Vaughn’s dismissal. Interim head coach Kevin Ollie will be coaching his first NBA game after spending most of the season as an assistant to Vaughn.
This should be an exciting game as both teams are healthy. Brooklyn will have a fully healthy roster for the first time this season.
The Nets’ injury report only has Dariq Whitehead, who is out for the season due to shin surgery.
Meanwhile, the Raptors’ only injured player is Markquis Nowell, who sustained a left hamstring strain in late January.
