Bruce Brown continues to be one of the hottest names on the rumor mill.
The Toronto Raptors are reportedly very likely to trade Brown before the trade deadline.
Many teams could use a player like Brown on their roster especially if they are looking to make a deep playoff run.
One team that continues to be heavily linked to Brown is the New York Knicks.
The Knicks made one big trade with the Raptors already sending RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley and a 2024 second-round pick to Toronto for O.G. Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa and Malachi Flynn.
The trade has worked out wonderfully for the Knicks so maybe they give the Raptors a call once again.
According to Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer, the Knicks have their eye on Brown as a potential trade target over some other names:
“The Knicks appear more interested in Toronto guard Bruce Brown Jr., for whom the Raptors are seeking some return in the range of a first-round pick, compared to Atlanta’s steeper asking price of two picks and then some for Murray.”
The Knicks are in win-now mode so they are not necessarily concerned about giving up picks if it results in them landing a key player. They gave up a second-rounder to Toronto in order to get the Anunoby deal done.
As the trade deadline approaches the Raptors should have plenty of suitors for Brown. It will come down to which team gives the Raptors the best offer.
Brown has been rumored to get traded since coming to Toronto in the Pascal Siakam deal.
The 27-year-old was a key piece on the 2023 Denver Nuggets championship roster.
76ers interested in Brown
Many teams could have their eye on Brown ahead of the Feb. 8 trade deadline.
Another team that has recently been linked to the guard is the Philadelphia 76ers.
However, with Joel Embiid’s recent injury news the 76ers could look to stand pat on a big trade for now.
