The NBA Trade Deadline is officially a week from today.
The Toronto Raptors have already made two big moves to shake up their roster and they could looking to make some more.
Toronto is fully in a rebuild and if they decide to have a fire sale, they have some players on their roster who could garner a lot of interest from around the league.
One player who continues to be in the rumor mill is Bruce Brown. Brown was acquired by the Raptors in the trade for Pascal Siakam.
Brown is a solid veteran player who doesn’t necessarily fit the Raptors new timeline. Therefore, the Raptors could look to cash in on a trade for him.
The Raptors are fielding offers for the 27-year-old who has a lot of interest, however they are in “no rush” to trade Brown, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski wrote on his weekly Threads chat.
Masai Ujiri did hint that more moves were coming for the Raptors before the trade deadline. The obvious moves would be to try and trade some of the veterans on their team for future assets.
Brown seems to be highly coveted so it would make sense for Toronto to trade him. But as we know, Ujiri and the Raptors like to take their time and don’t rush things.
If the Raptors do trade Brown, they can’t trade him alongside any other Raptors player due to the NBA’s recent traded player restrictions.
In return, the Raptors are looking for a first-round pick and a quality player in return, per Marc Stein’s SubStack.
Brown was a member of the Denver Nuggets championship run last season. He would immediately help any title contending team this season.

Brown reportedly has significant interest from around the league.
The New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks, Dallas Mavericks and Nuggets have all been connected to Brown ahead of the Feb. 8 trade deadline.
