The Raptors are down another big man.
Raptors two-way centre Jontay Porter was forced to leave Tuesday’s game against the Chicago Bulls with back spasms.
He did not return to the game:

Porter played just five minutes before exiting early in the second quarter. This wasn’t the first time Porter was forced to leave a game early. He left early in the Raptors matchup against the Los Angles Clippers on Jan. 26 with an eye injury.
Porter is another Raptors player to go down. The Raptors are already shorthanded as they are without guard Immanuel Quickley, forward RJ Barrett and center Jakob Poeltl. Thad Young is expected to get more minutes now as he is the only traditional center currently healthy.
Young had a great game against his old team the Bulls putting up 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in Toronto’s win.
Hopefully Porter isn’t gone for an extended period of time and he can rejoin the Raptors soon.
The Raptors are currently 1-1 on their six-game road trip.
Next up for Raptors
The Raptors will continue their road trip by travelling to Houston to take on Fred VanVleet and the Rockets. This will be the first time the Raptors go up against VanVleet since he left Toronto in free agency.
The Raptors will look to win back-to-back games and make it 2-1 on their road trip.
