The Pascal Siakam trade rumours have been heating up.
Many teams are reportedly interested in the two-time All-Star.
Leading up to the Toronto Raptors game against the Sacramento Kings a big report came out.
According to Shams Charania, the Sacramento Kings emerged as a serious suitor for Siakam:

After this news broke there was some serious speculation on if a deal was about to go down between the Raptors and Kings.
Just last season the Raptors played against the San Antonio Spurs and then struck a deal for Jakob Poeltl right after.
However, the trade buzz quickly went away when Charania released a follow up report two hours later saying that the Kings decided to pull out of the Siakam trade talks:
“The Sacramento Kings are deciding to pull out of the Pascal Siakam talks, sources say. Things can be fluid, but Kings-Raptors talks are now over.”
It was reported earlier in the day by Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer that the Kings made Harrison Barnes, Kevin Huerter and Davion Mitchell available for trade.
Therefore, the Kings pulling out of the Siakam trade talks so quickly after Shams’ initial report suggests that the Raptors didn’t want what the Kings were offering.
The Raptors likely wanted Keegan Murray and the Kings weren’t interested. It was reported by Fischer last month that the Raptors were expected to seek Murray in exchange for either O.G. Anunoby or Pascal Siakam.
Siakam trade talks ramp up
With the Kings out of the Siakam sweepstakes for now, it’ll be interesting to see if another team emerges as a serious suitor.
The Raptors next matchup is against the Golden State Warriors and they have been a team that has been recently linked to Siakam by NBA insider Chris Haynes.
