The NBA All-Star Game is set to take place on Feb. 18, 2024 in Indianapolis.
The Toronto Raptors are hoping to have some representation in the game despite their losing record.
One player on their team who should have a good shot of getting in is Scottie Barnes.
However, according to HoopsHype’s Global Rating, they have Barnes and Pascal Siakam both making it to the All-Star Game:

The rating has Barnes and Siakam making it as an Eastern Conference reserve along with Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Haliburton, Julius Randle, Paolo Banchero and Trae Young.
It’s hard to imagine the Raptors getting two players as All-Star reserves when they are currently 12th in the Eastern Conference.
The likelier player to make it for Toronto is Barnes. He is having having a third year leap and has been putting up career numbers.
He is averaging 20.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.4 steals, 1.4 blocks on 49.0 percent shooting from the field and 38.3 percent shooting from deep.

Barnes has been the most consistent Raptors player this season and he has truly elevated his game on both ends.
He is the only player this season with 40+ steals and 40+ blocks.
It’s been a disappointing season for the Raptors, but if Barnes can get to Indianapolis that would be a major bright spot in a down year.
