The Raptors started this game cold from the field. They were 1-for-9 from the floor before settling in. Boucher came off the bench and hit a couple of triples in the second quarter as Toronto took an early lead.
However, the Nets responded in a big way as they ended the half on a 15-0 run to take an 8 point lead into the locker room.
Dennis Schroder injured his knee in the third quarter but managed to come back into the game. In the fourth the Raptors stuck around thanks to the play of the bench. Boucher finished with 13 points and Gary Trent Jr. chipped in with 15.
The Raptors offense stalled late in this one as they missed six straight field goals.
Royce O’Neal caught fire from three and Mikal Bridges hit a clutch three-pointer to put the Nets up four late in the fourth. Bridges finished with 22 points, while Spencer Dinwiddie followed that up with a game-high 23 points.
The Raptors struggled to shoot the ball in this one. They shot it 38.6 percent from the field and 36.1 percent from three. Scottie Barnes put up 17 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals but was a -22. He struggled from the field going 5-19.
Barnes did have the highlight of the night, which was a reverse and-1 dunk in transition. Siakam finished with 17 points as well on 6-18 shooting.
