The Toronto Raptors always seem to find themselves in trade rumors.
Whether it’s them trying to acquire an All-Star player, or one of their players being targeted by another team, the Raptors are constantly in the rumor mill.
The Raptors have yet to choose a direction regarding their future. The team is stuck in the middle when it comes to either rebuilding or going for a win now move.
The Raptors have players who are talented and highly sought after by other teams. Pascal Siakam and O.G. Anunoby are two players in particular who could help a lot of teams get over the top.
Both of them are set to become unrestricted free agents in the summer of 2024. The Raptors have not shown an eagerness to extend them yet as it seems like Toronto is simply waiting to see how this season plays out before making long-term decisions.
As the NBA Trade Deadline approaches there could be teams that make an aggressive push for Toronto’s stars. Especially if the Raptors are having a down season.
One team that could be looking to trade for Siakam or Anunoby are the Sacramento Kings:
Shams on the Sacramento Kings: “I think this is the first time in a long time since Chris Webber was with the Kings that they just look at the Kings as a trade destination. They are going to be involved in every star player: Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, maybe Zach Lavine. … they… pic.twitter.com/LI8M8bNRnm

The Kings are an interesting team because they do have young players and assets that could be of interest to the Raptors if they do decide to blow it up.
Will the Raptors be sellers?
The Raptors right now are 6-7 and have been the definition of a .500 team.
If things go south for them, then Masai Ujiri and company might have no other choice but to be sellers and officially signal a rebuild around Scottie Barnes.
