Jalen Brunson finished with 26 points and 10 assists, leading the New York Knicks to a 111-95 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night. The win marked New York’s fifth in its last six games and stretched its winning streak against Toronto to 12.
Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 21 points and 12 rebounds, while OG Anunoby added 15 points against his former team. Landry Shamet and Josh Hart each scored 12 points, and Mikal Bridges chipped in 11 as the Knicks improved to 40-22, becoming the third Eastern Conference team to reach the 40-win mark alongside Detroit and Boston.
Brandon Ingram led Toronto with 31 points, and RJ Barrett added 20. Scottie Barnes finished with 14 points, while Immanuel Quickley posted 13 points and 12 assists. The Raptors dropped their fourth straight home game and fell to 4-10 against Atlantic Division opponents.
Toronto started strong, hitting its first three attempts from beyond the arc and building a 25-15 lead late in the opening quarter. Ingram scored 16 points in the first period alone, outscoring the rest of the Raptors’ roster combined. However, New York rallied and led 68-58 at halftime.
Both teams struggled with turnovers. The Knicks committed 17 turnovers that led to 22 Toronto points, while the Raptors gave the ball away 15 times, resulting in 17 New York points.
New York’s bench also played a key role, outscoring Toronto’s reserves 26-8. Meanwhile, the Raptors cooled off from deep, finishing just 5-of-25 from 3-point range after their hot start.
Toronto fell to 35-26 on the season and suffered its 24th loss in games where it allowed at least 110 points.
