Scottie Barnes took over after halftime, scoring 14 of his 23 points in the third quarter to power the Toronto Raptors to a 122-109 win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night.

Barnes delivered an all-around performance, shooting 8-for-17 while adding eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals. It marked his fifth straight game with at least 22 points, a season-best streak. Brandon Ingram matched Barnes with 23 points, while Sandro Mamukelashvili chipped in 22 points and nine rebounds. Immanuel Quickley added 18 as Toronto snapped a road drought in Sacramento dating back to January 2023.

After tying a season high with 21 three-pointers in a blowout win over Golden State a night earlier, Toronto’s offense was uneven early. The Raptors squandered a nine-point first-quarter lead and went into halftime down by nine before flipping the script after the break.

Toronto erupted for a 43-21 advantage in the third quarter, with Barnes hitting five of his six shots in the frame to swing momentum decisively. The surge allowed the Raptors to seize control and cruise through the fourth.

Russell Westbrook led Sacramento with 23 points, while Zach LaVine finished with 19 points and five assists. Malik Monk added 17, but the Kings dropped their third straight game following a season-best four-game winning streak.

Sacramento rested Domantas Sabonis, who sat out after playing three consecutive games following a lengthy absence due to a left knee injury.

The Kings recovered from an early deficit to take a 30-26 lead at the end of the first quarter on Monk’s buzzer-beating banked three, and Dennis Schroder helped extend the lead in the second as Sacramento went into halftime up 61-52. Toronto’s dominant third quarter erased that advantage for good.
