Rookie Collin Murray-Boyles delivered one of his most complete performances of the season, scoring 17 points to help the Toronto Raptors pull away from the Atlanta Hawks for a 118–100 victory Monday night, completing a two-game sweep of the series.
Filling in for injured center Jakob Poeltl (back strain), Murray-Boyles also contributed seven rebounds and seven assists as Toronto improved to 22-15. Coach Darko Rajakovic said before tipoff that Poeltl has been cleared for contact.
Scottie Barnes powered the Raptors with 18 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds, while Brandon Ingram added 19 points and nine boards. Toronto showcased its depth, with seven players scoring in double figures, following up Saturday’s 134–117 win over Atlanta.
The Hawks (17-21) got 17 points and 12 rebounds from Onyeka Okongwu and 13 points and 14 boards from Jalen Johnson, but struggled to keep pace offensively. Kristaps Porzingis returned after sitting out the previous night, finishing with nine points in 20 minutes off the bench.
Atlanta again played without Trae Young, who remained sidelined with a right quadriceps contusion.
Neither team found a consistent rhythm from beyond the arc, but Atlanta’s shooting woes were more pronounced. The Hawks shot just 39.3% overall and 12 of 34 from three-point range. Toronto capitalized inside, dominating the paint 64–44 and connecting on 52.2% of its field-goal attempts.
