Rookie Kon Knueppel knocked down five 3-pointers and scored 21 points, leading the Charlotte Hornets to a convincing 111–86 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Friday night, snapping Charlotte’s brief two-game skid.
Knueppel also delivered eight assists, capping one of the most complete games of his young career. Miles Bridges added 15 points and nine rebounds as the Hornets controlled the game from early on.
Ball Exits Early
Charlotte star LaMelo Ball played just 12 minutes before leaving with left ankle soreness, finishing with 11 points, three assists, and two rebounds.
Quickley Shines, But Raptors Fade Late
Immanuel Quickley poured in a season-high 31 points for Toronto, less than 24 hours after the Raptors suffered a heartbreaking 123–120 loss to the Lakers. Scottie Barnes added 13 points and five assists, but the Raptors struggled to generate offense consistently.
Toronto also saw forward Jamison Battle exit with a left ankle sprain early in the fourth quarter.
