Brandon Ingram drained a 15-foot jumper with 0.6 seconds remaining, lifting the Toronto Raptors to a hard-fought 97–95 win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night — their ninth consecutive victory.
With the win — combined with Milwaukee’s loss to Miami — Toronto locked in a top-two seed and home-court advantage for the NBA Cup quarterfinals. The Raptors also completed the group stage at a perfect 4-0 and improved to 14–5 overall.
Ingram led the way with 26 points and eight rebounds, continuing his strong stretch of play. Scottie Barnes added 24 points and 10 rebounds, while Immanuel Quickley chipped in 15 points.
The undermanned Pacers, plagued by injuries, dropped their third straight and fell to 2–16 on the season and 0–3 in NBA Cup play. T.J. McConnell paced Indiana with 16 points.
