Two former Toronto Raptors in O.G. Anunoby and Pascal Siakam are meeting in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The New York Knicks Game 6 win over the Boston Celtics on Friday, solidified their date with the Indiana Pacers. Contrary, Indiana handled the first-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers in 5 games.

These two teams met in the second-round last season, which the Pacers won in seven games. But, New York suffered mightily from injuries to rotation players, leading to them being eliminated.

However, the Knicks and Pacers are as healthy as can be this time around. One of either Anunoby or Siakam will in the Finals this year looking to win a second title.

Both players have been extremely important this postseason for their respective teams by providing two-way play complimenting stars in Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Haliburton.

Notably, Anunoby who dropped 20 or more points three times against the reigning champion Celtics. Elevating himself as a catalyst to making the Knicks nearly unbeatable when he gets going offensively.

On the other hand, Siakam has been a steady force with his offense. He has dropped double digits every single game this postseason as he scored 12 or more in their Cleveland series.

Unfortunately, it stings to not see these two not performing like this in a Raptors jersey anymore. But, this season proved Siakam and Anunoby are vital pieces to winning basketball.

That is why Indiana and New York decided to give up considerable compensation to acquire their services.

At the end of the day, hopefully, one of them can cash in on a second ring when it is all set and done.

O.G. Anunoby’s and Pascal Siakam’s 2024-25 season stats

O.G. Anunoby tied a career-high 74 games played and put up 18.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals. In addition to shooting 47.6 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from three-point range.

Meanwhile, Pascal Siakam put up 20.2 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists on 51.9 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from distance through 78 games.
