Anthony Davis delivered his first triple-double of the season with 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, leading the Dallas Mavericks to a commanding 124-102 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Friday night and ending a three-game skid.

Davis also contributed a season-best seven blocks in a dominant performance.

Bench players Max Christie and Brandon Williams added 17 points as the Mavericks took control in the second quarter, outscoring Toronto 31-13. Dallas led by as many as 38 points.

With the win, Dallas (39-42) secured a matchup against Sacramento in Wednesday’s Western Conference play-in elimination game between the ninth- and 10th-place teams.

Scottie Barnes paced the Raptors (30-51) with 26 points, while Ochai Agbaji chipped in 24 and tied a career-high with six 3-pointers.

Dallas used a 16-0 run in the second quarter to break the game open and held a 66-38 lead at the break. The Mavericks shot 65% in the quarter, while the Raptors hit just 19.4% of their shots. They missed all nine 3-point attempts and endured a five-minute field goal drought.

Agbaji scored 17 points in the first quarter, tying the highest individual scoring total in a quarter by a Raptor this season.

Game Takeaways

Raptors: Toronto dressed just eight players and used seven in the game, resting RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley for the season finale.

Mavericks: The team returned from Wednesday’s emotional loss to the Lakers. Williams returned to the rotation after signing a multi-year deal on Thursday, following the expiration of his two-way contract.

Key Moment

Davis completed his triple-double with an alley-oop assist to Dereck Lively II for a dunk with 10:45 remaining in the fourth quarter — his first triple-double since February 5, 2024, when he was with the Lakers.

Key Stat

While Barnes and Agbaji combined to shoot 12-for-20 in the first half, the rest of the Raptors went just 3-for-31.

Looking Ahead

Mavericks: Travel to Memphis to close out the regular season on Sunday.

Raptors: Wrap up the season on the road against the San Antonio Spurs.
