RJ Barrett will miss another game for the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors have ruled out Barrett for “rest” against the Golden State Warriors, as this will mark his third straight game missed after dealing with an illness at the beginning of the week.
Jakob Poeltl and Immanuel Quickley will both be available to play. They will play together for the first time since March 7.
Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, Ja’Kobe Walter, and Ulrich Chomche remain out, while Jared Rhoden will continue his G League assignment.
For the Warriors, Stephen Curry was held out for rest on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks. He should go for this one.
The Raptors are once again expected to lean into its depth down the stretch of this game as they continue to prioritize draft lottery positioning.
The team is coming off back-to-back losses on their current west coast trip. They got blown out by 40 points by the Phoenix Suns in their last game.
The Raptors currently have the 7th worst record in the NBA, trailing the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers for a bottom-5 spot.
Raptors projected to Select Kasparas Jakucionis in latest mock draft
The 2025 NBA Draft is going to be an interesting stop during the Toronto Raptors rebuild.
The team has its core in place with the newly acquired Brandon Ingram and will have a great opportunity to add another solid young talent to their team going into next season.
The Raptors are doing their best to try and lose every game, but unfortunately their easy schedule has made them stumble into many wins as of late. With the way things are going it looks like Toronto will end with the 7th worst record, which in theory pencils them in at the No. 7 slot in the upcoming draft.
According to Gilbert McGregor of The Sporting News, he has the Raptors taking Kasparas Jakucionis at No. 7.
