Toronto Raptors sophomore Gradey Dick was on fire in the NBA Rising Stars Challenge.
Dick led Team T with 12 points on 5-for-7 shooting from the field and 2-for-3 shooting from deep:

Dick was the reason why Team T stayed in the game. Unfortunately, Team T didn’t have enough as they lost to Team C 40-34 in the semifinal.
After missing out on the Rising Stars Game last year, Dick made his presence felt at this year’s event. He scored the first bucket for his team off a nice up and under layup.
Dick had another nice finish inside, laying it up around Canadian Zach Edey. Dick then cashed in on a triple from Anthony Black that was nothing but net. He hit another three off a screen from Alex Sarr. Dick was on the money in this game only missing two shots.
His performance caught the attention of Raptors legend Vince Carer and 3-time WNBA champion Candace Parker who were on the broadcast call with Adam Lefkoe.
This was a great experience for Dick who is the lone representative for the Raptors at All-Star Weekend in San Francisco.
Team C went on to defeat Team G League in the final 25-14, as they punch their ticket to the 74th NBA All-Star Game on Feb. 14.
ESPN projects Raptors selecting Illinois’ Kasparas Jakucionis in latest mock draft
The Toronto Raptors will be in the NBA Draft lottery mix come draft time. Hopefully, they will secure a spot in the top-5 this time around.
In ESPN’s latest mock draft by Jonathan Givony and Jeremy Woo, they project Toronto taking Illinois’ Kasparas Jakucionis at No. 5.
