The Toronto Raptors got back in the win column thanks to a 115-108 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Total team effort

The Raptors had everyone chipping in during their impressive win over the Clippers on Sunday afternoon. Seven Raptors players finished the game in double figures, with RJ Barrett leading the way with 20 points. All ten Raptors players who saw the floor in this one scored. This total team production stemmed from the Raptors sharing the ball effectively. The team had 31 assists and used a big third quarter to outscore the Clippers 31-16, which gave them full control. Toronto shot the ball 51.8 percent from the field and a very efficient 52.o percent from three.

Veterans play

Kelly Olynyk and Chris Boucher were DNP-CD’s on Jan. 31 against the Chicago Bulls. Both players were back in the rotation for this one. Olynyk saw 17 minutes of action and scored 4 points, meanwhile Chris Boucher picked up from where he last left off scoring 9 points in 16 minutes. He drilled his first three-point shot attempt from off the bench. Jamal Shead was out with the flu and Davion Mitchell was also out due to a foot injury so it made room in the rotation. Also, Orlando Robinson who logged 14 minutes against the Bulls did not play.

Immanuel Quickley minutes restriction

Quickley didn’t check back into the game after his initial third quarter shift. He sat out the final 19 minutes and went back to the locker room at one point, but returned to the bench. Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic said it was part of the plan for Quickley as the team continues to manage his minutes, per TSN’s Josh Lewenberg. Overall, Quickley played in 17 minutes, 2 more minutes from the previous game and finished with 11 points and 6 assists.

The Raptors who have now won 8 of their last 10 games will host the New York Knicks on Feb. 4.
