Immanuel Quickley will be out once again when the Toronto Raptors visit the Washington Wizards.
Quickley will miss his eighth straight game with a lingering hip injury, the Raptors announced on Jan. 28, via Sports Illustrated’s Aaron Rose.
Quickley has been out since the middle of January. He has yet to practice and there is no timeline for his return, per Rose.
It’s been a rough season for Quickley as the guard has only appeared in 9 games for the Raptors this season.
Meanwhile, Kelly Olynyk has been upgraded to questionable. He has missed the last two games with a calf strain. If Olynyk isn’t ready to go, expect to see Orlando Robinson again from off the bench for the third consecutive game. The Raptors recently re-signed Robinson to a second 10-day contract.
The Raptors will have Ja’Kobe Walter back with them when they hit the road to Washington. They have recalled their rookie first-round pick. Meanwhile, Jonathan Mogbo will remain in the G League with the Raptors 905 along with Jamison Battle, Ulrich Chomche and AJ Lawson, per Rose.
The Wizards are the worst team in the NBA, having lost 14 games in a row. While the Raptors have won 4 games in a row and are currently 6th in the reserve standings.
